Product Delivery

At mygroovyplace.com we pride ourselves on the quality and reliability of our premium delivery service. To find out more about, please review the information below.

Delivery Overview

We offer a ground floor delivery service as standard on all appliances. For small items, we also employ a courier company to fulfil our delivery requirements, where appropriate.

Delivery Charges

We charge £36.00 for most large appliances to the majority of UK post codes £12 for small courier items (excluding Scotland and other outlying areas).  Your delivery charges will be calculated once you have simply added the product to your shopping basket and you are proceeding to checkout.

Please note, installation and recycling is not included in the price listed on product pages.

How will my order be delivered?

Depending on the product you have selected, and your location, delivery will be made either by one of our trusted delivery partners:

Swift (for all stock items)

Swiftcare (for all our Bertazzoni branded products) or 

Kaboodle if installation of your product has been selected.

In some instances, for example, with goods that require specialist equipment to complete delivery, we may opt to send your goods directly from the manufacturer on our behalf.

Deliveries are made to your room of choice on the ground floor. Please let us know if you require delivery to an above/below ground floor room and we’ll do our best to accommodate you within the limits of driver Health and Safety regulations.

Delivery Exclusions

There are only a handful of postcodes we don't currently deliver to - predominantly remote rural or outlying areas within the UK. These are: The Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, Isle of Skye, Isle of Man, Orkney Isles, Scottish Isles Minor, Shetland Isles, Ireland and Scottish Highlands (however, please contact: customerservices@mygroovyplace.com to discuss your specific details as delivery can often be arranged depending on the products in question).

International Deliveries

Our deliveries are restricted to the UK Mainland, we do not deliver to Northern Ireland at this time.  We can arrange to have your goods delivered to a UK based shipping agent of your choosing for forward delivery outside of the UK at your own cost.

Delivery lead times

Stock held at our distribution centre can usually be delivered to the majority of UK postcodes within 48 hours (excluding Scotland and other outlying areas, where this may take up to 72 hours).  The current areas that we deliver to every 48 hours to are (by postcode):

B, CV, CW, DE, LE, M, NG, S, SK, ST, WA, WS, WV

 

For all other deliveries, the following applies. Order by:

 

Monday – Delivery Wed-Fri that week

Tuesday – Delivery Wed-Fri that week

Wednesday – Mon-Wed following week

Thursday – Mon-Wed following week

Friday – Wed-Fri following week


Once you have completed your purchase, you will be contacted by the relevant logistics partner within 24 hours to select a convenient delivery date.

If we need to order stock from our suppliers, the average delivery time is around 3-7 working days, but you will be advised of this as soon as possible. All deliveries are discussed with you and arranged in advance by our logistics team.

Non-Billing Address Deliveries

If you request delivery of your product(s) to an address other than your billing address, we may undertake additional security checks on your payment before accepting the order. This is part of our standard security procedures to help protect you against fraud or misuse of your credit/debit card and mis-use of your identity. These additional checks may result in your order being delayed, therefore we recommend that you arrange delivery to your card billing address wherever possible.

Delivery Days


We currently deliver on Monday-Friday however we are currently exploring the options of delivering on a Saturday and/or Sunday. 

Delivery Times

Our standard deliveries are made between the hours of 7am and 8pm on weekdays.  A signature will be required upon delivery and someone must be at the delivery address to accept, sign for, and inspect the goods when we arrive.

To keep our prices as competitive as possible, our standard deliveries are made by one man only. We offer a kerbside delivery and wherever possible our driver will wheel your product into an unobstructed ground floor room of your choice. As a result, we only offer our standard delivery service to ground floor properties and blocks of flats with a lift (providing the appliance will fit).  Our ground floor deliveries can include a maximum of 4 steps. Please call us if this affects your order as undelivered products caused by this issue will incur a redelivery charge.

Delivery Time Slots

You will be notified of your estimated delivery time slot by SMS between 7pm and 9pm the day before delivery. As we operate a rapid next day delivery service, we will be unable to notify you of your time slot any earlier than this because MaxOptra, our automated route planning system will be planning the delivery routes up until this time. This means that you cannot choose/change your delivery timeslot.

Ideally, please ensure that you are available all day on the delivery date you select. The majority of our deliveries arrive within the time-slot however we can't control the traffic so there may occasionally be unavoidable delays. If you find you cannot keep to your chosen delivery date you must notify us before 12 noon one working day before otherwise failed delivery or redelivery charge will apply (see below).

Arranging a Delivery Date

Items which we are holding stock at our warehouse will usually be delivered to you within a few working days - often the following day, wherever possible. You will be able to choose your delivery date as part of our service.

Delivery Notifications

As part of our delivery services, we will send you an estimated time-slot for your delivery via SMS and e-mail, to help you plan your day.

Damages

We take great care to ensure your goods arrive safely, however, we do ask that you inform us of any damages within 3 working days of delivery. For more information, please refer to our returns & refunds policy.

Recycling your old appliance(s)

If you have selected installation then we will include recycling of your old appliance as part of our service.  

We also recycle appliances in accordance with the WEEE directive.

Should you wish to recycle your old like-for-like appliance, simply select the “Installation and Recycle” option which is available at Checkout. Please note, mygroovyplace.com only charge for the cost of transporting the item to be recycled.

We are unable to recycle AGA-type range cookers as the weight of this type of cooker means that we are unable to manoevre and transport them with our vehicles and personnel.

We offer a full installation service for all appliances to almost all of England and Wales via our specially selected premium installation partner, Kaboodle.  Please refer to the table below to see which areas are covered and on which days.

Once you have confirmed your order, you will receive an automated email or text asking you to confirm your preferred installation date via the online installation booking platform.

Failed Delivery Charges

Where a pre-arranged agreed day has been given for delivery and we are prevented from delivering the goods due to there being no one at the address, or we are unable to make the delivery for other reasons such as those mentioned above, you may be liable for a failed delivery charge of £36.00. This also applies if you cancel a delivery after the goods have been loaded ready for delivery to you. 


Click and Collect from our Warehouse

If you need an item straight away, please contact us via customerservices@mygroovyplace.com to arrange pick-up from our trade-counter at our warehouse in Stoke.  Our warehouse is located near to  Junction 15 of the M6.


You pick the day to come to collect it and we'll reserve it and prepare it for collection for you. You can collect your goods between 8am-5:30pm Mon-Fri on the date you select.

Please note, all click and collect orders will need to be paid for before collection.  We DO NOT accept payment at the trade counter.
